Our Value Proposition
Pawsitive Perspectives is developing a redesigned homepage with clearer navigation for applying for a service dog.
We're better because we make the process clear and easy for clients to understand the application process and locate their login portal.
We're believable because we are empowering our clients to understand every step of the process, from application to receiving their dog, and beyond
Striving For:
Easy and Clear Navigation that Guides and Assures the User

Keeping our Proto Persona in mind, we developed a User Journey that evaluates the existing application process. We had a mother, applying for her son with diabetes, navigating the process of obtaining a doctor's recommendation for a service animal, and searching for a reputable source to acquire an assistance animal. Then upon discovering our site, she encountered a sign-up process that could be improved with clear directions, prompts, and confirmation of an application received.
Our goal was to identify potential opportunities for enhancing the website's navigation, application process and design to create a more user-friendly experience.
I Wonder...
How can we go from this
Clunky & Confusing site

To something that conveys
Friendly, Trustworthy, Calm, and Professional
I like to start with pen & paper to get the creative juices flowing

We took elements from all our sketches to create a low-fidelity wireframe. We chose the drawings that were easy to understand, clear, and concise It made sense to focus first on the mobile application so it would be easy to scale into a responsive web design(RWD).

Next was working to craft a Style Tile which encompassed a fresh logo design, a harmonized color palette, and the standardized buttons integral to the creation of our revamped version.

With our conclusive design in place, featuring a new navigation menu, we transitioned into the testing and iteration phase. We addressed legibility and spacing concerns, ensuring a user-friendly interface. By integrating the Style Tile, we established a coherent and clear application process to deliver an enhanced user experience, that ends with a reward screen for completing the application.

I Wish...
Our group had time to implement these Future States

Our others ideas for improving the usability of this site included creating a customer portal wherein the user could create a custom fundraising section. This dedicated space could be shared with friends and family, fostering collaborative efforts in acquiring these invaluable animal companions. These extraordinary partners, often accompanied by a price tag surpassing $20,000 due to their exceptional training, held the potential to significantly enrich lives.

We also created an additional user path that would give the user the ability to track the fundraiser progress that gave notifications and reward badges for when goals were met for the user. This blend of functional engagement and gratifying acknowledgment forms a compelling narrative of progress.

Beyond the strategic brainstorming, the collective passion for our cause was fueled by our own furry companions. They are our wellsprings of inspiration, unwavering allies, and a constant source of comic-relief
